DIY Easter Basket
Easter baskets come in all shapes and sizes, so why not make your own picnic version! All it takes is cardstock, a few supplies, and love. There’s even a tiny version you can cut on a Cricut Joy 2 or original Joy!

Easter Treat Holders
Need something quick, but still oozing with sweetness? These Easter Cricut treat boxes are fast, beginner-friendly, and great for egg hunts, classroom exchanges, and stuffing an Easter basket. There’s even a version with windows to get a peek at the treats inside!

Pro Tip: Use the best materials you can, like sturdy, solid-core cardstock and strong adhesive, for clean folds and polished results, like on these adorable Easter lollipop holders (don’t miss the butterfly and unicorn versions). Check my list of recommended materials below for my favorites!

Greeting Cards
Handmade greeting cards are one of the most meaningful Cricut crafts you can make. And these whimsical alcohol ink butterfly cards turn a piece of blank paper into a card swirling with bright colors… perfect for Easter greetings or a simple springtime hello!

Or, craft one of my favorite pop-up cards: a bouquet you can send through the mail! Floral themes like these inked edge flower cards and stained glass Print Then Cut cards are lovely for sending sweet Easter cards far and wide.
Don’t forget to make the right size envelopes to send along with your Easter card ideas!

Easter Basket Gifts
Want creative ways to fill an Easter basket with something truly special? I’ve got lots of unique Cricut project ideas that go way beyond candy.
Pressed flower bookmarks are delicate and elegant, perfect for spring reading. Pair them with a new book (and some favorite candy) for a thoughtful Easter basket gift!

Everyone loves stickers! Print Then Cut your own sticker sheets using your Cricut. Since they’re great for both adults and children of all ages, custom gifts like these are the perfect thing to “stick” inside an Easter basket!

Create a custom, full-color project with my cheerful florals and Easter eggs tumbler wraps. My PNG designs can be used on more than just tumblers, and make for gorgeous personalized gifts to show off this Easter and beyond! Try using them on Print Then Cut cards, stickers, magnets, and more.

Paper Flowers
Paper flower projects let you capture that fresh-from-the-garden look using your Cricut machine and simple cardstock… no watering required.
Start with delicate paper tulips or elegant paper lilies, then elevate them into a full Paper flower bouquet that becomes instant decor for your Easter table.

Remember, each project comes with free SVG files and step-by-step instructions, so you can craft blooms that look stunning for the season.

Craft a Welcome
Brighten your windows and front door with these cheerful Easter window clings made using permanent vinyl, suncatcher material, and transfer tape. And it’s so easy to make custom decals to layer on the window film. I love the rainbows they cast!

This layered butterfly wreath turns simple cardstock into a light, airy statement piece that practically flutters off your door — a fresh and colorful way to welcome spring into your home decor!

Lanterns & Luminaries
Looking for Easter decor that glows? These cardstock lanterns with LED lights create magical party decoration displays and stunning Easter table centerpieces.
These sweet little bunny & chick lanterns look adorable by day… and absolutely magical once they’re lit up for an evening-time gathering. They go together just like my fox lantern!

When the lights go down, this Easter egg lantern glows from within, casting the prettiest patterns across your holiday table and instantly setting the mood with its beautiful shape. You can craft your own with or without the optional bunny ears on the top!

One of my favorite projects starts with a couple of simple glass globes from the dollar store, then transforms into a charming, light-up bunny complete with tiny accessories… proof that budget-friendly can still be completely delightful.
Pro Tip: Customize your floppy ear friend with the included paper accessories (in the free download) or grab some miniature bunny garb from your local craft store.

Intricate blooms wrap around a soft glow in my layered garden lantern and flower bouquet lantern, creating centerpieces that feel part garden, part fairytale.

Décor and Wall Art
Ready to create something truly show-stopping? These unique Easter Cricut project ideas make unforgettable home décor accents. I use many of them all year!

My layered mandalas build depth and detail one piece at a time, creating artwork so dimensional it almost feels sculpted instead of cut. Just look at these gorgeously detailed hummingbird, bunny, and Easter egg designs!

Softly glowing and impossibly sweet, my engraved acrylic nightlights feature sleepy baby animals like a bunny and fox. And yes, you can make one with any Cricut Maker series machine! Just follow the step-by-step tutorial with my free SVGs.

Looking for a more classic style? A vintage truck, a sparkling shaker egg, and layers of detail are tucked inside my Easter truck shadow box!

In my busted canvas tutorial, spring doesn’t just sit politely inside the frame… it bursts right through it, giving this canvas bold movement and playful dimension! You can use the spring designs with the original busted canvas assembly directions!

Answers to Your Questions About Making Easter Cricut Projects
Q: Is there a way to create custom Easter Cricut crafts?
A: You can learn how to create customized versions of many of my Easter Cricut projects in my ADVANCE program. Learn more about ADVANCE here!
Q: Help! My Cricut Design Space screen looks different from yours!
A: If you’re using the latest version of Cricut Design Space, your screen may have slight variations from the screen you see on these tutorials. Good news! All of the same functions are there, they may just be in different spots or have new icons. Pause the video if you need, or follow along with the written tutorial. If you get stuck, ask for expert support in our Facebook group, or troubleshoot Cricut Design Space with my Cricut Survival Guide.
Q. What Cricut machine works best for Easter Cricut projects?
A: Any Cricut machine works for most of these Cricut Easter ideas. A Cricut Maker offers the most versatility with various materials, but Explore models handle cardstock projects, vinyl, and Print Then Cut beautifully. The Joy is great for small projects, and the Joy 2 and Joy Xtra even have Print Then Cut functions.
Q: Where do I get the free SVG files?
A: Each project links to its free SVG files and cut files inside the full tutorial. Just unzip them, upload them into Cricut Design Space, and follow the step-by-step instructions.
Q: What materials should I use?
A: Use quality materials for the best results in your projects. For cardstock projects like custom cards and lanterns, choose 65 lb. or higher weight cardstock. For vinyl projects, I mostly use permanent vinyl and transfer tape for clean application. For sublimation, follow the best materials recommendations in the tutorial. I’ve linked to my preferred materials in each project post to help you pick!
Q: Are these beginner-friendly?
A: Yes! Many of these ideas are easy projects perfect for beginners. Start with treat boxes, lollipop holders, or simple greeting cards if you’re new to Cricut crafting.
Q: Can I customize the designs?
A: Absolutely. You can adjust colors, resize elements, and create custom designs directly in Cricut Design Space. Some tutorials include tips for modifying your own designs, too! And if you want to customize projects even further, my ADVANCE program is a great place to learn.
Q: How do I make my projects last longer?
A: My favorite tips to make crafts last longer:
-
To make your paper craft projects last longer, use high-quality acid-free cardstock, strong archival adhesive, and keep finished pieces away from moisture, direct sunlight, and excessive handling.
-
To make your sublimation tumbler projects last longer, ensure proper time and temperature settings during pressing, use high-quality sublimation blanks and ink, and hand wash gently instead of using a dishwasher.
-
To make your adhesive vinyl projects last longer, thoroughly clean and prep your surface before application, firmly burnish the vinyl, allow it to cure for 24–48 hours, and avoid excessive moisture or abrasion.
Q: What’s a fun way to use these for parties?
A: Use lanterns as party decoration centerpieces, treat boxes for favors, and paper flowers for Easter table displays. They’re also perfect for kids’ parties like egg hunts and classroom celebrations!
