The best crafts and holiday decor to make on your Cricut machine for the holiday season!
It’s July, I know, but it turns out “Christmas in July” is totally a thing! What a fun way to beat the heat! Plus I know many of you love to start making your Christmas crafts and great gifts early. So I’ve rounded up some of my most popular Christmas Cricut projects that can be cut on the Cricut cutting machines, including notes on which machines are best for cutting them (Cricut Maker, Cricut Explore, and/or Cricut Joy) to help you find the right ones. These Cricut Christmas ideas are the perfect gift this Christmas season… but they’re also all great ideas if you want to sell handmade Christmas gifts at a craft show or on Etsy! So without further ado, let’s look at the best DIY Christmas gifts and home decor tutorials…
These free Cricut Christmas projects make great handmade gifts to share or sell! This beautiful star lantern is one of my favorite things! Made of Kraft board and vellum, you can hang it up with a LED light or just display it on a Christmas mantle. I've even seen folks put them on top of their Christmas tree! This year, your Christmas decorations will amaze everyone. This project is best make on a Cricut Explore Air or Maker, but you can resize it down to make a little star on your Joy, too! Free cut file and YouTube video, too! These Christmas signs make the best personalized Christmas gifts. You can easily use Cricut Design Space to add a family name or year, too! And the best part is I show you how to make signs with different materials, from stenciled signs that don't bleed to long plank signs you can personalize with vinyl. You can make Christmas signs with any Cricut machine and some adhesive vinyl. I've now made several advent calendars (I make a new one every year), but my most popular is the 3D Christmas Tree advent calendar with little boxes for treats, gift cards, cute magnets, DIY ornaments, or whatever you can fit in there! This Christmas craft is best made on the Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore. Perfect accessory for your Christmas pajamas! You can personalize socks with Infusible Ink so whatever you put on them stay as crisp and vibrant as the first day you made them! This is a great gift for the whole family at Christmas time .... or really any time. I LOVE socks ... they are like a hug for my feet. These socks can be made on all Cricut cutting machines, including the Cricut Joy, and are really one of the best Cricut Christmas gift ideas! Speaking of socks, these fun gnomes are made with socks! No sewing machine required. This one is so much fun! Use your Christ to cut the little felt hats or wee mittens for your bearded gnomes. Add a little heat transfer vinyl on the gnome hat to really make them stand out. These are great home decor, and also hot sellers at craft fairs ... I mean, who doesn't need a cute gnome? This project is best cut on the Cricut Maker, but you can do it on the Cricut Explore in a pinch. Free cut file, YouTube video, and a great tutorial! (I had so much fun making these!) Last year one of the big trends was to take ceramic tiles and turn them into DIY ornaments ... it was HUGE! So I created a whole collection of SVG cut files to help you, as well as templates, backings, and hangers so you can turn ordinary tiles from the home improvement store into an easy personalized Christmas gift. These are perfect for things like baby's first Christmas, personalized ornaments for the whole fami, and is really just a great way to decorate a tree with that personal touch. You can make these on all Cricut cutting machines, including the Joy. Last but not least, the very popular Christmas Town Countdown Calendar ... a super easy DIY project that is the perfect Cricut Christmas craft for beginners. All you need is some cardstock and my SVG cut file. These look amazing on a holiday mantle and I think its the easiest way to bring a little Christmas into your home. You can cut it all white, or in a variety of colors -- this is a perennial favorite DIY project on my blog! And, super cute design, if I do say so myself. This is best cut on the Cricut Maker and Explore, but could be cut on the Cricut Joy, too.Cricut Christmas Ideas
