Yesterday I showed you to make candy crafts for Christmas, and I mentioned that you could always put candy inside a fun, little box! I’ve made so many boxes over the years, but they’re just sort of scattered around my blog like ornaments on a tree. A DIY gift box is perfect for a wee little Christmas present, small gifts, party favors, and special occasions, So I thought I’d make a nice, neat list for you to find your favorite gift box templates this year! To make each one, just download my free printable template (or SVG cut file), follow my easy step by step tutorials, cut each one from card stock, crease on the fold lines, add a little glue, put in some tissue paper, and insert your small present.
And you can make these little DIY gift boxes in different colors to match the occasion or season!
Remember, you can also get creative and make cute “gift boxes” from every day items like a Mason jar, a toilet paper rolls, or a simple cardboard box decoupaged with wrapping paper. Or consider “non-box” things like my personalized Santa Sack or paper purse as alternatives to boxes… they look and work great for smaller gifts, too!
