It’s Day 5. I’m back again to motivate you to organize your craft room. We’re going to keep working on making space today.

Craft Room Organization Challenge Day 5: The Other Stuff

Craft Room Organization Challenge 5: The Other Stuff

So if you did yesterday’s assignment (you did, right?), you’ve got a whole bunch of trash out of your craft space. But, if you’re anything like me, there’s still stuff there that you’re MAYBE not sure about. Is it really trash? Do you really want to get rid of it?

I know the feeling.

So the “other stuff” might fall into other categories, such as:

  • Things you might want to sell
  • Things you’d like to donate or give away
  • Things that you are on the fence about keeping in your craft space

We need to take care of these things, folks! We can’t get organized if our craft spaces are cluttered with things we don’t need in there.

Today you need to take action on all the other stuff.

If you have things you might want to sell, put them in a box (if they’ll fit), take your “sell” boxes to a designated storage space elsewhere in your house. Write today’s date on the boxes. If you haven’t held the yard sale within 3 months ,this stuff get donated to Goodwill or even just trashed.

If you have things you’d like to donate, write today’s date on them, and put them in a bag or box and take them to a donation facility by the end of the day. If you haven’t donated them within 1 month, this stuff gets tossed in the trash.

If you items about which you are undecided, put those also in a bag or box and write today’s date on them and move them OUT of your craft space. If you don’t decide what to do with them within 3 months, donate or toss them.

You can do this. It WORKS.

Day 5 Assignment: Bag or box up your Other Stuff, date it, and move it out of your craft space. Snap a photo and show us your progress on our support group, if you want!

Until tomorrow,
