Free Label Templates to Organize Your Craft Supplies! | craft room organization | free printable labels

I LOVE labels. I’d label everything (and have come close to doing just that in the past.) And now that I’m working on my ultimate craft room, I need some ultimate craft room labels. So I’ve made some free label templates to use for all of my boxes, bins, drawers, and containers. I thought others could use these label templates, too!

How My Free Label Templates Work

I have two different kinds of labels:

    • A printable label template that you can type in your own names and just print out on adhesive paper.

  • A cuttable label template that you can make out of chalkboard vinyl so you can write your own names in chalk and then re-name it later if you wish!

If you want to step-by-step tutorial and video for making labels, please see my DIY Pantry Labels post where I share my newest free label design, and I show you how to write on the labels using your Cricut and then cut them out.

How to Use My Printable Free Label Templates

Get the free printable label designs (Design #61) from my free resource library (get the password to the library in the form at the bottom of this post)

Now open the PDF in Adobe Reader. Do NOT just open it in a browser—it won’t work properly. You can get Adobe Reader free here, but you probably already have it on your computer.

In Adobe Reader, click on each label and type in the name of the thing you need to organize and store.

Now, print the labels on adhesive paper. Make sure you put your paper into your printer the correct way so it prints on the sticker side.

Once printed, cut out the labels around the shape and put on your craft room storage boxes, pins, drawers, whatever!

  1. This has been wonderful learning all kinds of ideas to better organize my craft room. Haven’t posted any pictures but will this week as I still need ideas for my overloaded bins of wood stamps.
